Katrin Abfalter

Katrin Abfalter received her Master's degree in Nordic Philology from the LMU Munich. In 2017, she suddenly started developing games from one day to the next. from one day to the next, she started developing games. After her nomination for the Spiel-des-Jahres-German Young Game Designer Scholarship in 2018, she decided to, to make her work as a game designer her main profession. At the same She also joined the SAZ at the same time. Since then, every year she has been implementing several projects with different publishers.

Daniel Bernsen

Daniel Bernsen is a teacher of history and French. He lives with his family in Mexico City, where he works at the German School as a teacher and coordinator for the upper school. At the beginning of 2016, the first prototype of his own was on the table. SAZ member since 2017. Besides developing simple family games, he is particularly interested in the topic of history in games and the connection between games and learning.

Hilko Drude

Peter Jürgensen

Peter Jürgensen has been inventing analog games since 2013 and works as a game designer in the computer game industry. He occasionally teaches game design, for example at the University for Applied Sciences Europe in Berlin. He is particularly interested in elegant and minimalist games in which gameplay emerges from a minimum of rules.

Peter Kuhn

Peter Kuhn has been working internationally as a freelance game and production agent, game designer, project consultant, and coach in the game industry for over 10 years. After studying theater, film, and television, he spent over two decades working in TV, film, and events. He worked as a producer, director, editor, dramaturge, project and festival manager, and author of various formats, including under contract and on behalf of MGM, Universal, Senator Film, ARD, and ZDF.

Paul Schulz

Paul Schulz

Paul Schulz studies in Greifswald psychology, landscape ecology and nature conservation. He has been organising public games evenings in the Hanseatic city for years, such as the annual games day with the city library. In 2017 he won the Game Designer Scholarship of the Jury Game of the Year. Since then, he has hardly missed any games fairs and author meetings. His first game will be published in Nuremberg in January 2020.

Anja Wrede

The trained educator lives in Berlin and has published more than 130 games with various publishers in Germany and abroad.
One focus is on children's games, another on family games that are easy to learn.
For many years, she has been giving workshops and lectures on the subject of GAMES, PLAYING, and developing GAMES.
In all formats, she emphasizes interaction and playful encounters. She has been a member of the SAZ since 2000.
