The Jury "Spiel des Jahres e.V." announced the Nominations and recomandation list for this year. Three games each were nominated for "Spiel des Jahres 2026", "Kinderspiel des Jahres 2026" and  "Kennerspiel des Jahres 2026". Other games are listed in the associated recommendation lists.

Nominated for the award "Spiel des Jahres 2026" were:

Cozy Sticker Ville by Cory Konieczka (Unexpected Games)
Dito! by Martin Ang (Game Factory)
Morty Sorty Magic Shop by Markus Slawitscheck (Schmidt)

Additionally, the Jury published a recomandation list with seven further games on their website.

Nominated for the award "Kinderspiel des Jahres 2026" were:

Buh Party by Florian Sirieix und Benoit Turpin (Loki)
Die Insel der Mookies by Florian Sirieix (Kosmos / Scorpion Masqué)
Verflixt verzaubert by Thomas Dagenais-Lespérance (Game Factory)

Nominated for the award "Kennerspiel des Jahres 2026" were:

Boss Fighters QR by Michael Palm und Lukas Zach (Pegasus Spiele)
Moon Colony Bloodbath by Donald X. Vaccarino (Alea)
Rebirth by Reiner Knizia (Frosted Games / Mighty Boards)
