It is absolute time to strengthen the instruments in the copyright contract law between creators and publishers finally leading to a fair balance of interests of all parties and therefore to strengthen the position of creators and artists. The draft of the German Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection on copyright contract law forms a very good basis for this. …

So starts the declaration, which was initiated by the more than 35 organizations and trade unions (including SAZ) which are cooperating in the Initiative Urheberrecht. We call all game authors/designers to support this declaration to strengthen our rights in Germany and as well the position of all interest groups of creators like SAZ. This is important as well for game authors/designers abroad who publish in Germany.
