Parallel to the Internationale Spieltage in Essen happend in Ireland on 22 October a remarkable event for the 8th time: the School Game Playing Day. On this day, the children of all primary schools may bring their favorite board game and then play together. Educators emphasize the integrative, social and educational impact of games. An example that perhaps should make an accepted action in other countries, too!
