The jury of the 22nd Hippodice Game Designer Award has announced the winners on March 16:

1st place: Cames Drive by Hans-Reinhard Gottwald
2nd place: Die Staufer by Andreas Steding
3rd place: Midgard Marauders by Yort Watson

Special prize for the best full evening game: Altiplano by Louis & Stefan Malz,
special prize fot the best two players game: Moeraki - Kemu by Stefan Kiehl.

On the recomandation list of 2010 are Panorama by Heinrich Gumpler and Tier Pfleger & Co. by Stefan Risthaus. Further information you can find on the website of the organizers (only in German).

We congratulate our members Stefan Malz and Stefan Risthaus and noticed with interest that several game designers from other countries are under the finalists. The SAZ is a sponsor of this award, which has been already for many game designers the springboard to a published game.
