German Games Archive moved to Nuernberg

The German Games Archive (Deutsches Spielearchiv) moved from Marburg to Nuernberg. The founder, Dr. Bernward Thole, was not able to finance this project any longer. After 30 years of enthusiasm and lots of work he handed over the archive to the City of Nuernberg where it will be part of the museums structure.

The final concept will be published in May. Hopefully it will have a great future and can be used by the public and by professionals like game designers. Games are part of our culture - the archive fulfills there an important contribution.
