Calls for proposals

Calls for public competitions are direclty linked to the organizer.

Calls for proposals from companies, agencies and institutions that are looking for game designers and their works to realize specific projects will be puplished for members exclusively in the SAZ member area under "Current calls. Even though the SAZ checks the content of these calls carefully, it does not assume any liability.

Preconditions: Your call for proposals has to make clear that the game designers' intellectual property rights will be respected and the use of their works will be defined in a contract with fair payment arrangements. Calls meeting these conditions can be published for a period of three months. Please send your request and call to our office.

EUROPA LUDI 2012 Competition

EUROPA LUDI is the union of the competitions Granollers (Spain) and Boulogne-Billancourt (France), which have already been involved thousands of authors. It is held in this form 2012 for the first time. The website, the entry conditions and entry form are available in French and Spanish only. The games can also be filed in English.

Closing date is 15th February 2012

Premio Archimede 2012

Inventor competition in Italy, co-founded by Alex Randolph and organized by the agency Studio Giochi. Last entry is May 31, 2012. The submission fee is € 25,00. The award ceremony is held in Venice on September 29, 2012

New competition for game desingers by spielmaterial.de

Harald Mücke starts with spielmaterial.de his 4th game designer competition. While our two first competitions have been about creating a board game with some given materials and the third was about designing a meeple, our new competition that runs until end of May 2012 is about designing a game that fits into a given box.
